An investment business, with a local office, has announced that 14 portfolio managers from another investment house have joined them.
The staff are leaving Singer and Friedlander and joining Close Brothers' Private Asset Management.

They include Richard Stanley in the Isle of Man.
They are expected to take up their new positions in July.

The firm says one reason for the recruitment is the pursuit of its aim of growth in its overall asset management business.
