Airport charges to fall dramatically

Lower charges to Airlines are to brought in to Ronaldsway Airport to boost future travel prospects. The initiative, flagged up by the Treasury a few weeks ago, is to ensure that the Island remains competitive in terms of air access costs and that the airport continues to levy charges to airlines in line with other UK airports. Existing charges will go down by between 25% and 30% on average. But that depends on a number of things. Airport Director Phillip Pain has had talks with the operators:
