Paintball menace

by isleofman.com 8th March 2006
Police are looking for two men who fired a paint ball gun from the window of a car.

Two incidents were reported yesterday evening, one at 8pm around Derby Road and another near signpost corner in Onchan five minutes later.

In both incidents a paintball pellet was fired from the window of a small red car, similar to a Vauxhall Corsa.

In the first a 42 year old man was hit but not injured. The second pellet was fired at a woman but missed.

Police say such incidents are relatively rare, but cause them great concern as anyone hit in the eyes or face could be seriously hurt.

Anyone with information is asked to get in contact with police on 631 212.
