A Christmas cracker with Manx Telecom

by isleofman.com 5th December 2012

There were gifts galore at a Christmas celebration hosted by Manx Telecom at Bar George in Douglas.

Around 200 guests representing the company’s corporate clients attended the event and were treated to festive food and drink. Some fantastic gifts were given away in a prize draw including a Samsung Galaxy Note II, an iPod Touch, a YouView set top box, plus vouchers for the Manx Telecom store in Strand Street. The event was also a chance to celebrate the success of the telecoms company’s ‘All I Want For Christmas’ campaign.

David Smith, Manx Telecom Marketing Director, said:

“Our ‘All I Want For Christmas’ promotion has gone extremely well and we are very pleased with sales figures, especially for smartphones. Around 75% of all the handsets we have sold during the promotion are smartphones, which shows that there is a real appetite amongst Isle of Man consumers for the latest technology. A big thank you to all of our guests for joining us to celebrate our success, and to all of our staff who worked so hard to organise a fantastic event.”
