A Peel student has achieved the rare distinction of a 100 per cent mark in her GCSE mathematics examination.
That has earned Lauren Blayney of QEII the annual Nationwide International award.
Lauren, who lives in Crosby, scored a perfect 300 out of 300 to be the top GCSE maths student amongst last year’s QEII students.
Head of Maths Will Wood described the achievement as 'exceptional'.
Lauren's aim is to go to Oxford or Cambridge.
