Feedback on proposals to introduce an MOT-style roadworthiness test for vehicles in the Isle of Man has flooded into the Department of Infrastructure.
Since a public consultation was launched on Monday the DoI has received more than 600 responses.
Comments on social media and online forums have suggested that the plan is little more than a moneymaking exercise.
