Inflation down in November

The annual rate of inflation as measured by the Retail Prices Index (RPI) decreased to 2.9% in
November, down from 3.1% in October 2012.

Excluding housing costs, the annual rate of inflation shown by the RPI also decreased to 2.3% for
November 2012, from 2.5% in October 2012.

The annual rate of inflation shown by the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) is 1.8%, a decrease from
October’s figure of 2.1%.
