RNIB 'fiercely opposed' to eye test plans

On Manx Radio today there was strong reaction to Department of Health proposals to end the provision of universal, free eye tests.

David Anderson told the House of Keys earlier this week keeping the tests free for all was a policy which was no longer sustainable.

The issue was discussed on Talking Heads earlier today.

Julie Lee from the Royal National Institute for the Blind said the organisation was fiercely opposed to the idea of people paying for the tests:
