Manx National Rally awarded Best Event in 2012

Manx Auto Sport’s Manx National Rally has been awarded the Best event of the year by the Reis Get Connected MSA Asphalt Rally Championships organisers.

A party from Manx Auto Sport recently attended the Reis Get Connected MSA Asphalt Rally Championship dinner held at the Moar Hall hotel, in Sutton Coalfield.  The prestigious event was the annual awards presentation for the rally series sponsored by Reis, Get Connected & the MSA, which takes in rally events throughout the UK.

Manx Auto Sport’s Chairman Mark Ellison was delighted to accept a cup presented by Reis, Get connected & The MSA, on behalf of Manx Auto Sport, for the Best Event in 2012 the Manx National Rally, voted for by the drivers in the Championship.  Manx Auto Sport have now won this cup on 7 occasions, this year’s Manx National took place on the Island on the 19th May 2012, with over 85 entries, with half of the competitors from the UK.

Reis Get Connected MSA Rally championship is fought over 9 events, which include the Patriot stages, Rally of the Midlands & the Jim Clarke to name three, it is a very hotly contested rally series with this years top three 1st Damien Cole in a Ford Focus WRC, 2nd Stephen Simpson, Subaru WRC & 3rd Chris Jones in a Ford Focus WRC, well done to all the competitors and we look forward to seeing them on the Isle of Man for the 2013 series of the Reis Get Connected MSA Asphalt Rally Championship, The Manx National Rally, Best Event 2012.
