by isleofman.com 13th December 2012

The Isle of Man Constabulary are continuing to carry out enquires in relation to a burglary and thefts from cars in Ramsey last weekened (Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th December 2012).  The offences appear to have been concentrated to the area of Queens’s Drive East, Ballure Road and Walpole Drive.

At this stage Police want to ask residents to again check their vehicles or properties for any missing jewellery, CD’s or any other missing property. It may be timely to also ask that basic security methods are considered and all valuables are either removed from vehicles or placed out of view and vehicles locked when unattended.

The Police have issued a picture of one particular watch which they have recovered and would request that if anyone recognises the watch to get in contact with them.

They can contact Ramsey Police on 812234 or any police officer.

You may also contact Isle of Man Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. Crimestoppers is an independent Manx charity established to enable callers to pass information regarding criminal activity anonymously. Crimestoppers is not an agency of the Police. Crimestoppers will never ask callers for any personal details.
