A new branch of coffee chain Costa opens in Ramsey this weekend (Saturday 15 December).

It's the third Costa Coffee franchise store in the Island and the only one outside Douglas.

Three new full-time jobs have been created along with one part-time and three weekend posts.

The Ramsey Costa opposite the post office in Parliament Street has 58 covers and will open seven days a week.

Franchise operator Gary Dorling says his company Fancy A Coffee Ltd has invested ?200,000 in the venture.

Baristas will make their first coffees at the store from 8.30am on Saturday morning when doors open to the public.
