Whitley Council agree manual workers pay settlement for 2012-13

Following a constructive meeting, facilitated by the Industrial Relations Office, held on Friday 30 November 2012, the Employers’ and Employees’ Side of the Whitley Council for the Isle of Man Public Service (Manual Workers) have agreed that the annual pay settlement for 2012-13 shall be an unconsolidated, non-pensionable, one-off payment of ?400.

The payment will be taxable and subject to national insurance contributions and paid pro-rata for part time employees and leavers.

It was also agreed that Employing Authorities would be requested to ensure that the payment of the lump sum would be made no later than January 2013 wages.
