by isleofman.com 20th December 2012

The Manx Electric Railway has released a revised timetable for tomorrow as the bus strike enters its second day.

Services are being provided between Douglas and Ramsey as replacements for suspended bus routes.

The first trams will leave Laxey at 6.05am, with the last service terminating in Douglas at 7.15pm

The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure says it'll also open the Welcome Centre in Douglas for longer tomorrow to deal with inquiries from the public.

It will open from 7am to 8pm.

You can find out more at the government’s website, gov.im, or on our Facebook page.

Meanwhile, driving conditions are proving treacherous for those who've taken to their cars in hte absence of bus services.

There are widespread reports of flooding on roads around the Island as poor weather continues - Colby and Ballabeg are just two areas said to be affected.
