Hospital vomiting bug plea

by isleofman.com 21st December 2012

The Department of Health is asking people not to seek medical help at its hospitals, surgeries and clinics if they’re struck down with the Winter Vomiting Virus.

Over the past few says it says a number of people have turned up with symptoms – potentially spreading the illness to staff and other patients.

Instead, it’s asking people to stay at home, drink plenty of fluids and keep away from other people.

And it says after the vomiting and diarrhoea have stopped, you should stay at home for 48 hours to avoid passing on the bug.
