Dwina Gibbs visits Rebecca House

by isleofman.com 21st December 2012

Dwina Gibb recently made a visit to the children’s hospice.  Both Robin and Dwina were great supporters of Rebecca House. Indeed they opened it on 14th November 2008.

Dwina along with her assistant Eleanor Shimmin spent time with the children and their families  that use the services of Rebecca House. Everyone was delighted that she took the time to come to the Isle of Man to visit them.

Whilst here Dwina signed the beautiful Rebecca House 2013 calendar. Her artwork is the front page of this fun and innovative income generating project. Her beautiful artwork entitled The Peeping is the perfect front page to a fun calendar - calendars are on sale through the Hospice shops, from fundraising on 01624 647433 or email fundraising@hospice.org.im

They are pictured with a beautiful Rainbow tree which came all the way from the USA and was donated from a Manx lady living in Berkeley, California. This tree is the team's entry into the Save the Children’s Festival of Trees. The decorated trees are on display at Ronaldsway Airport.

Help us Rebecca House to continue to help the children and their families that need the services of a children's hospice by emailing fundraising@hospice.org.im or by calling 01624 647433 or visit www.hospice.org.im.
