Tynwald has voted for a review of the policy. It allows carriers to set their own schedules and levels of service.
A system of regulation would see air operators forced to apply for licences, obliging them to provide minimum levels of service to agreed destinations.

The matter's being considered by Tynwald's economic policy review committee and the Manx public have just a week left to make submissions. The deadline is Thursday January 3rd. You should contact Roger Phillips at Government Offices.

Committee chairman Leonard Singer says it's important a broad span of views is considered.
