Could you represent the Island at Commonwealth Observance Day?

by isleofman.com 29th December 2012

Young people on the Island have the chance to visit London and attend a ceremony at Westminster Abbey in the presence of the Queen.

The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) is inviting applicants to represent the Isle of Man at the Commonwealth Observance Day on 11th March.

Applicants should be between 18 and 25, and have an interest in the Commonwealth and parliamentary democracy.

Those interested should write in under 100 words what they think they'd gain from the experience and how the Island would benefit from their attendance.

Applications are to be sent by e-mail to j.corkish@tynwald.org.im before 5pm on Monday 7th January.
