by isleofman.com 1st January 2013

Manx2 has been rebranded as Citywing in a move which sees the locally-based operator shed its strong public association with the Island.

The re-brand follows a buy-in by four senior managers who become a majority shareholder in the company. Manx2 founder Noel Hayes retains a sizable holding.

Citywing flights to Manx2's former destinations start tomorrow.wednesday 2nd January, but the new management team have their sights on short-hop domestic and possibly international routes.
