Island tour date for trio of tenors: Tenors Un Limited to perform in aid of Junior Achievement

by isleofman.com 3rd January 2013

They’ve wowed audiences in the US, Australia and up and down the UK… and now they’re heading for the Isle of Man.

Tenors Un Limited - Scott, Paul and Jem – will be performing at the Gaiety Theatre on Saturday April 13th in aid of Junior Achievement in a show sponsored by Celton Manx.

The three, billed as ‘tenors with attitude and a strong sense of fun’ have played alongside A-list artists including Sting, Lionel Richie and Hayley Westenra and the show, part of their 10th anniversary tour, promises to be an irresistible mix - Buble, Bocelli, Bizet and much more - along with songs from previous albums and a taste of their upcoming studio album.

Junior Achievement’s chief executive Sue Cook said: ‘We’re putting together another packed programme of events in 2013 to appeal to all tastes and ages, from stand-up comedians to stars of the stage and screen along with outstanding local performers. Many of the shows would never have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors, so we’re delighted that Celton Manx has chosen to sponsor Tenors Un Limited in April.

‘These are three supremely talented guys, all easy on the eye as well as easy to listen to with their classical crossover style, and we’re thrilled they’ve been able to include us in their 10th anniversary tour schedule.’

Celton Manx executive director Bill Mummery said: ‘Junior Achievement works hard to equip young people with entrepreneurial skills for when they set out on their careers and has to raise more than ?300,000 every year. To help achieve this Sue and her team organise events of consistently high quality. We applaud the remarkable work they and their volunteers are doing in schools and are proud to be supporting Junior Achievement in what I am sure will be a fantastic evening’s entertainment.’

Release your inner romantic with ‘You Raise Me Up’ or your inner Dean Martin with ‘Volare’ at An Evening with the Rat Pack of Opera on Saturday April 13th 2013 at the Gaiety Theatre.

There are a limited number of VIP tickets available at a cost of ?60 each which include a front row seat in the dress circle, pre-show drinks, meet and greet with the group and a signed copy of their album.
