DCCL accused of not communicating with athletes

The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure has been accused of keeping those affected by its plans for the NSC during TT 2013 in the dark.

It wants to host an as-yet unnamed tyre manufacturer in the middle of the running track, setting up tents to entertain corporate guests.

People have until the end of today to submit objections to the planning proposal.

The topic has been discussed on Talking Heads today.
