Thieves take generator

Police are looking for thieves who have stolen a generator.

The yellow KIPOR KDE 6700T machine was taken from a truck parked in Balthane Industrial Estate sometime in the week before 22nd of December.

Officers say the generator, worth around a thousand pounds, weighs nearly 200 kilogrammes and would have required considerable effort to move.

Anyone with information on the theft is asked to contact Port Erin police station on 832 222 or use the anonymous Crimestoppers line 0800 555 111.
