Police appeal after man seen acting suspiciously in Douglas Cemetery

At about 4.10pm on Friday 4th January, a woman disturbed a man acting suspiciously within the grounds of Douglas cemetery, on  Glencrutchery Road.
 
The man is described as white, in his late 40’s with short thinning hair on top which is longer at the back and he was described as having a pronounced paunch. He was believed to be wearing dark trousers, dark jacket and a grey coloured T shirt. The man left the cemetery when he was disturbed and made off towards Willaston.
 
The woman who disturbed the man was left upset and frightened by the man’s behaviour and contacted Police.
 
Anyone who was in the area of Douglas Cemetery at this time or who believe they know the identity of the man described is urged to contact PC 250 Thommeny on 631212 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
