Strand Shopping Centre Rest Rooms Closed For Refurbishment

by isleofman.com 9th January 2013
As part of the continual development and investment in public facilities, The Strand Shopping Centre will be closing the rest rooms on the first floor from 7th January 2013.

The upgrade of the toilet and wash facilities is expected to take around 6 weeks. Temporary toilets will be made available to customers of the shopping centre during this time and there are excellent public toilets just over the road under the Chester Street Car Park opposite Iceland.

John Shakespeare, Centre Manager of Strand Shopping Centre commented, “We apologise for any inconvenience caused during the refurbishments but we are certain the changes will be appreciated by Strand Shopping Centre customers once complete. The toilets have not been up to the quality required for customers for a few years so I am pleased that we are finally starting this programme of refurbishment”.

Updates on the refurbishments and other Strand Shopping Centre news can be found on their Facebook page – just search “Strand Shopping Centre”.
