Unite renews call for arbitration as strike talks go ahead

by isleofman.com 9th January 2013

Third party arbitration is the fairest way to resolve the argument over bus drivers' pay.

That's the message being repeated by Unite National Officer for Passenger Transport Bobby Morton, who says the drivers will meet union leaders later.

In today's discussions the drivers will look at strike dates for later this month, in February and in March.

This comes after three days of walkouts last month when talks collapsed between the union and the Department of Community Culture and Leisure.
