Between 12.30 and 1am on Saturday 12th January 2013, a lone 45 year old Ramsey man has been walking along Parliament Street, Ramsey from the direction of Ramsey Warehouse towards the direction of the old courthouse when he has been approached by a younger man who threatened to harm him, before throwing a drinks can at him. Fortunately this did not hit the man, who was uninjured.
PC Kath GILES from Ramsey Police Station said:
“I would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident, I understand that there were customers in the Star grill takeaway who may have seen what occurred. We have every reason to think that this was an unprovoked incident. Ramsey officers were notified soon after the event, but were unable to locate the offender at the time. Enquiries are continuing.”
