Dental delays confirmed

by isleofman.com 14th January 2013

The general manager for Primary Healthcare says long-term illnesses and issues with recruitment have led to dental staff shortages.

Tony Jones says the shortages mean there'll be a suspension of routine check ups and treatments at NHS clinics until the situation improves.

The Hillside and Community Health Centre clinics in Douglas will be hit by the changes but the Ramsey NHS clinic will not be affected.
