Police update after man threatened in Parliament Street in Ramsey

Following a request for information after a lone 45 year old Ramsey man had been walking along Parliament Street, Ramsey when he was approached by a younger man who threatened to harm him, before throwing a drinks can at him.   Officers have today arrested, interviewed and charged a 16 year old youth from the North of the island with provoking behaviour.
 
PC Kath Giles from Ramsey Police Station would like to thank those persons who assisted the investigation allowing us to quickly identify and deal with the alleged offender and to bring this matter to a swift and satisfactory conclusion.  This is an excellent example of the Community working in partnership with the Police in order to keep people safe and to bring offenders to justice.
