Bus strike makes small saving

The Leisure Minister says Thursday’s half-day bus strike will only have saved the government a small amount of money.

Drivers were involved in a five hour stoppage – the latest industrial action in a dispute over changes to their pay and conditions.

However, while Graham Cregeen says the strike passed off peacefully, it naturally affected revenues.
