Police charge 22 year old Liverpool male with drugs offences

At 5.45am Thursday 17th January 2013, Officers from the Central Neighbourhood Policing Team arrested a male at the Sea Terminal in Douglas.  The male from the Liverpool area was then transported to Nobles Hospital as it was suspected that he had Class A controlled drugs secreted internally. 

On Monday 21st January 2013, Aaron Brady, a 22 year old male from Liverpool, was charged with Production of a Class A controlled drug namely heroin, and Possession with intent to supply a Class A drug namely Heroin. The drugs seized have an Isle of Man street value of approximately ?11,700.00.

Detective Sergeant Paul Holland of the Pro Active Team stated “Once again someone has travelled to the Isle of Man with the intention to supply heroin, this will not be tolerated and the Isle of Man Constabulary, will continue to work hard to remove the availability of drugs on the Island”.
