Children's Centre to launch third "Fifty Quid Think Big Challenge"!

by isleofman.com 25th January 2013
On Monday 18th February The Children’s Centre will be launching the third ‘Fifty Quid Think Big Challenge’!

The premise of the event is very simple; they provide you/your organisation with ?50 ‘seed money’ and then your teams have six weeks in which to grow their money in any way that is legal and ethical.

Thanks to the continued support of Paragon Recruitment every penny raised will go directly towards supporting our charitable projects Out2Play, Mobex, Child Contact Centre, Philip Christian Centre and the Community Farm.

They appreciate that in this climate fundraising is becoming an ever more difficult task so The Children’s Centre fundraising team will be there every step of the way with advice and support so you can get the most from your fundraising, we will also provide you with your very own fundraising pack containing:

  An A – Z of fundraising ideas
  A list of useful contacts
  Some basic dos and don’ts
  A poster template
  A totaliser
  Your fundraising agreement

The challenge will finish on Thursday 28th March when they will declare the 2013 ‘Fifty Quid Think Big Challenge’ winner.

Last year's winning team, Capital International, raised over ?1500 for The Children's Centre so the bar has been set very high. Teams have done a variety of things including raffles, car boot sales, fun days and cake sales in their offices.

If your organistion would like more information or want to talk through any part of the challenge please contact Michelle O'Malley on 631919 or email
fundraising@thechildrenscentre.org.im.
