Fancy riding a bicycle from San Francisco to Los Angeles in aid of Hospice IOM?

For the first time in its 30 year history Hospice has organised an off-island challenge. The once in a lifetime event is a bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, USA. The 528 miles of cycling over 8 days takes place from 1st to 12th October 2013. 
 
There is a presentation event next Thursday 31st January 2013 at the British Embassy, The British, North Quay, Douglas from 5.30pm-7.30pm.
 
This beautiful ride is along the amazing coastal pacific highway and is organised by a UK event company called Greenrock Limited.
 
To find out more about this amazing challenge please come along to a presentation evening. If you can't make the talk but would like more details please register your interest on 647431 or email fundraising@hospice.org.im.
 
It is estimated that the event will cost approximately ?3,500 which includes fundraising. Greenrock will give an inspirational talk about the trip this Thursday. A buffet will be served.
