That’s after they stormed to a 4-0 win at Rushen in the tie of the day.
Two from Steven Priestnal, one from the penalty spot, and goals from Martin Reilly and Connor Gorman sealed a comfortable success at Croit Lowey.
Another of the big guns also won convincingly as Laxey triumphed 6-0 at Division Two battlers Douglas Royal.
Johnny Callow, Ashley Webster (two), Mark Wolfenden (two) and Nigel Beattie were on target for the Miners who ensured Royal would not cause another surprise after they knocked out Union Mills in the previous round.
An Ashley Sansbury double fired Castletown into the quarter-finals as they saw off Gymns 2-1 at the Stadium after extra-time.
The surprise of the day came as Douglas & District defeated Ramsey Youth Centre in a penalty shoot-out.
D&D, whose scorers were an own goal and Aaron Bradley, had trailed 2-1 late in extra-time but equalised before winning 4-2 on spot kicks with goalkeeper Andy Corkish saving two penalties.
It was the club’s first ever penalty shoot-out.
Pulrose showed their character, coming from behind to beat neighbours Douglas Athletic 4-3 after extra-time.
The match was level at 1-1 after 90 minutes and Douglas Athletic looked like they had done enough when they opened up a 3-1 lead, courtesy of David Harrison (two) and Stuart Monk.
However, Aaron Raby, Joe Reece, Matty Cowin and JP Glover netted for Pulrose to earn a quarter-final derby at St Mary’s.
