Increased demand leads to further call for TT Homestay providers

Householders interested in offering accommodation for the TT Festival are being reminded to register their interest in the Homestay Scheme. This is in order to help to meet the ever-increasing demand for accommodation and enable TT visitors to secure their bookings early.  Homestay can be offered during the TT for any number of nights between 25th May and 9th June 2013.
 
Homestay providers offer bed and breakfast or self catering accommodation during the TT Festival and any income earned up to ?1500 is free from tax. Registration also provides public liability insurance cover up to ?5 million.  The registration fee is only ?15.00.
 
Registration for the TT Homestay scheme closes on 26th April 2013 and the Department is unable to accept any applications after that date.
