A Manx Rugby player is on the verge of making an international appearance for Scotland.
18 year-old Phil Cringle has been selected for the Scotland under-20 match against England in the opening Six Nations clash on Friday evening at Plymouth.
He isn't in the starting fifteen but will be on the bench as a replacement.
Phil was invited to be a full-time Rugby Development Player at the Edinburgh Rugby Academy in August and is a first team player for Edinburgh club Stewarts Melville.
