Organisers of a festive tradition are thanking the public for helping raise vital funds for charity.

The Save the Children’s 11th Festival of Trees at Ronaldsway Airport raised an estimated seven and a half thousand pounds.

A collection of 21 exhibits were on display throughout the festive period, decorated in imaginative ways to reflect a wide range of schools, businesses and Island community groups.

Tynwald Mills, Arbory School, Thompson Travel and the Jane Crookall Maternity Unit were the winners of the various categories as the public voted for their favourite tree and made a donation.
