With three events over two days Peel Ladies Guild and boat crew were successful in raising ?907.
Starting with a Sample Our Scones coffee morning on Friday (25th January) held at St Patricks church hall the ladies raised ?324.
They followed this with a Scoff Our Sandwiches quiz night run by Ernie Baker at Peel Legion which raised ?275. This was won by The Four Amigos.
One the following Sunday both the shore and boat crew ran a car wash from 10 am until 2 pm and raised ?308.
