Police appeal after attempted theft of Lead

Police are currently investigating the attempted theft of lead from the rear yard of the Chemists on Michael Street, Peel.
 
The incident happened at approximately 7:50pm on the evening of Tuesday 29th January 2013.  The male offender(s) started to remove the lead flashing from a shed before being disturbed and running away from the scene.
 
Although the offender(s) did not get away with the lead from the shed this incident is being thoroughly investigated.
 
Police ask anyone who has witnessed this incident or if anyone has any information which could lead to the identity of the offender please ring Peel Police Station on 842208 or Douglas Police Headquarters on 631212.
