Newson on the Quay supporting Hospice Isle of Man

by isleofman.com 30th January 2013

Hospice Isle of Man is delighted to encourage the Manx public to “Fill Yer Boots” for the local charity as they celebrate 30 years of care on the Island. Dee and John Newson of Newson on the Quay came up with the fantastic idea of putting some fabulous welly boots on their counters and encouraging customers to throw some coins or notes into the boots which they will turn donate to Hospice.

Mary Doyle, PR and Marketing Manager for Hospice, pictured second left, thanked Dee and John Newson, who have always been tremendous supporters of Hospice, for getting involved in supporting Hospice in this unusual fun way. Also pictured from left to right are: Terri Cook, Dee Newson, Anne Dale (who was the first customers to drop some coins into the boots) John Newson and Sam Newson.  Also pictured are some very fetching boots in a 30 year shape!
