by isleofman.com 30th January 2013
Police are currently investigating the theft of cash from a motor car parked on a drive in Reayrt ny Crink, Crosby. Around 17 pound coins were taken from a purse that had been left in an unlocked vehicle.

The incident happened overnight on Monday 28th January 2013 into the early hours Tuesday 29th January 2013.

Sergeant Gavin Callow from the Western Neighborhood Policing team said “This is very unusual as Crosby is a very low crime area. Whilst stealing is clearly unacceptable please make sure that valuables are not on view in your car and the vehicle doors are locked.”

Police would like to speak to anyone who has witnessed this incident or who may have any information which could lead to the identity of the offender/s please ring Peel Police Station on 842208 or Douglas Police Headquarters on 631212.
