Challenges facing Island outlined at public meeting

The serious challenges facing the Manx government were outlined to a public audience of around 150 in Ramsey last night (Wednesday).

A major shortfall in the administration’s budget was highlighted at Scoill Ree Gorree in the town as members of the public had the chance to quiz government ministers at the latest Romin Comin event.

Among a range of issues raised was the scope of government.

Chief Minister Allan Bell reiterated all cards are on the table.
