by isleofman.com 31st January 2013
Police are investigating a road traffic collision which occurred in the access lane to the rear of Westhill Avenue, Castletown, between 6pm on Saturday 26th and 5pm on Sunday 27th January 2013, where the offending vehicle failed to stop following the collision.

A silver Daihatsu Four track was parked and unattended between these times in a private parking bay to the rear of owners address.  On the evening of the 27th the owner has discovered the damage to the drivers door of the vehicle which consisted of a dent and an amount of paint being scraped off.

The damage appears to have been caused by a large vehicle due to the height of impact, maybe a flat bed wagon.

If anyone has any information in relation to this matter, they are urged to contact Constable Lee Wright at Castletown Police Station on 822222 or via lee.wright@gov.im

Alternatively, people can give their information anonymously via the crimestoppers hotline 0800 555 111.
