An amazing evening of magical entertainment is guaranteed in Ramsey on Friday, 8th February. The two-hour show, staged by the Magicians of Mann for the Rotary Club of Ramsey, takes place at the Masonic Hall and starts at 7.00pm. Three of the performers are also members of The Magic Circle in London, the world’s best-known magic society. This will be first time that Lexi Watterson, Paul Martin and Mike Clague have appeared in a show together. Paul, who has been chairman of the Magicians of Mann since 2002, explained that nine members of the local club will be mystifying the audience. He added ”Also appearing are professional magician Colin Boardman, Michael Daniels, Ramsey’s own Keith Greenland, Josua Marais, John Cain and compere Bev Michelson. There will be a real mix of magic styles, from sophisticated sorcery to fun-filled children’s entertainment, so it’s a show for all the family.”  Colin won The Magic Circle’s Young Magician of the Year competition before he moved to the Island, has appeared on TV and is well known as a magical entertainer at functions and parties. Producer of the show is Keith Greenland, who is a member of the Rotary Club of Ramsey and treasurer of the Magicians of Mann.

Tickets, available from The Ramsey Warehouse, are ?7 for adults and ?3 for children. Family tickets are only ?15, and doors open at 6.30pm.

The Magicians of Mann meet on the third Tuesday of each month at the Catholic Columba Club in Douglas.
