Fagg wins on Canadian rally debut

by isleofman.com 4th February 2013

Manx co-driver Rob Fagg was part of the victorious crew at the Rallye Perce Neige in Quebec, Canada, at the weekend.

He partnered driver Patrick Richard in his Subaru Impreza, winning the event by just over two minutes.

That was despite Fagg having never met Richard before, never rallying in snow and ice before, and only being called up for the event at the end of January.

Writing on Facebook after the win he said, "One hell of a rally which I am not sure I could do the likes of again, stages describe (sic) as the worst they have ever been and the car control on the guys out here on the ice is awesome."
