Constituents frightened by housing assessments, says MHK

North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson says recent statements about assessing people in public sector housing have frightened many of his constituents.

This morning in the House of Keys he’ll quiz Social Care Minister Chris Robertshaw about the announcement people will face an assessment every two years to see if they really need social housing.

Mr Henderson says the arrangements seem vague and the plans haven’t been fully explained to people.

And he says that’s worried many tenants who fear they’ll end up evicted from their homes:
