Real ale festival set for spring return

by isleofman.com 6th February 2013

A treat's in store for real ale lovers on the Island this spring.

The local branch of Camra - the Campaign for Real Ale - is holding its second beer festival, over three days in April.

It'll be based on last year's inaugural event at the Masonic Hall in Douglas, which attracted more than 100 visitors from across the north of England and proved so popular there were long queues to get in, and the beer ran out on the third day.

This year's Real Ale of Man festival 'RAM2' will feature more than 100 beers, ciders and perries from around the British Isles, with hot food and lots of live bands. There'll also be extra capacity, with a marquee in the grounds.
