The children’s hospice, Rebecca House, were the recipients of a ?200 cheque from local company Ecoshine IoM.
The car wash and valet service commenced business in May 2012 and is licensed for three Government car parks, Drumgold Street (Marks and Spencer’s), Parade Street behind the Bus terminal.
It was important to the owners of the company to support a local cause while building their business so they chose the children’s hospice Rebecca House. To get the fundraising support going they have donated ?200.
From this Wednesday February 6th they will also operate on Level 4 in Chester Street where they will provide an exterior/interior valeting service at their dedicated valet bays.
The aim of Ecoshine IoM is to bring a new convenient eco-friendly way of cleaning vehicles to the Island.
All of the equipment used is 100% eco-friendly right from the solution to the microfiber mitts and towels to the buckets which are also made from 100% recycled plastic and they only use approximately 4-litres of water per vehicle to wash it.
From now on 5p from every car wash or valet will go to help the children at Rebecca House.
