Authorities in Hungary investigating match-fixing in the Champion’s League say they’ve received information from the Isle of Man.
The probe centres around a game between Liverpool and Debrecen in 2009.
Debrecen’s goalkeeper is alleged to have attempted to fix the match – a UEFA investigation two years ago saw him banned for two years for failing to report advances made to him by a fixer.
The Hungarian National Bureau of Investigation says it has 50 suspects with links to 33 matches in three countries.
The information from the Isle of Man is thought to relate to betting activity.
