Christina Collister inquest to resume

by isleofman.com 7th February 2013

An inquest into the death of a Douglas woman is set to resume this morning, more than a year after it was opened and adjourned.

Thirty-seven-year-old Christina Collister died in November 2011, two weeks after being knocked down by a car at the National Sports Centre.

She suffered severe leg injuries in the incident.

At the opening of the inquest in January last year the preliminary cause of death was given as a pulmonary embolism - a blockage of the main artery of the lung.

Coroner of Inquests John Needham will reconvene the inquiry at 10am.
