Bendy bus trials in the Isle of Man

Two of the controversial bendy-buses are being prepared for trials on Manx roads.

Drivers are being trained to use the articulated vehicles and to get used to handling them on local routes. It is envisaged that the buses will be used for school transport in particular.

The trials are taking place without passengers on board and will last about a month.

Speaking live on Mandate on Manx Radio today, Community, Culture and Leisure Minister Graham Cregeen told James Davis an itinerary for the trials has been arranged:
