Isle of Man Sports Awards 2012

by isleofman.com 11th February 2013

Isle of Man Sport is pleased to announce that the 2012 Sports Awards will be presented at an event on the 21 March 2013 at the Royal Hall, Villa Marina and we are delighted that Dennis Taylor, former World Champion Snooker Player has agreed to be our guest of honour.

IOM Sport Chairman, Hon Graham Cregeen MHK, commented: “Once again, we have had a marvellous year for Manx sport and this event provides a wonderful opportunity for the people of the Isle of Man to recognise outstanding sporting achievements in 2012”.

The evening will be also linked with the presentation of Sports Aid sponsorships for those young athletes who will be supported by Isle of Man Sport Aid in 2013.

We are delighted that the main event will be sponsored once again by the Isle of Man Bank and the Palace Hotel will be providing the supper at a modest charge.

We must also take this opportunity to thank the sponsors of the individual awards as without their support, we would not be able to hold this event.
